MilestoneMedical Connects with AdvancedMD to Drive Every Workflow in Your Practice
AdvancedMD offers full CRUD (create, read, update, delete) API access across both its Practice Management and EHR applications. Developers can choose between two integration paths: SMART on FHIR APIs for read-only, standards-based access (compliant with the ONC’s (g)(10) requirements), or AdvancedMD’s proprietary Connect APIs when full read-write functionality is required. For high-volume data needs, AdvancedMD also exposes a custom ODBC driver that allows SQL-based extraction directly from their systems.
Building and maintaining an AdvancedMD integration requires a developer agreement, sandbox demonstration with their Interoperability team, and ongoing API version management. Setting up your AdvancedMD integration — and keeping it running — is part of the MilestoneMedical service. We handle all the technical work, and the ongoing maintenance, so your team never has to.
